    Itinerary
    Day 1

    ARRIVE MADURAI – PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A DAY OF TEMPLE TOURING.

    A local Sahapathika representative will welcome you upon your arrival at Madurai Airport. You will then board a waiting vehicle and be transported to your pre-arranged hotel. After completing the check-in process, take some time to unwind. Your first stop for the day is the Meenakshi Amman Temple, believed to have been constructed in the 6th century BC. This revered temple attracts around 15,000 visitors daily. After paying your respects, you will proceed to the Thiruparankundram Murugan Shrine, a rock-cut temple thought to have been created by the Pandyas in the sixth century.

    Day 3

    RAMESHWARAM- KANYAKUMARI (300km, 5hrs).

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast before boarding your flight to Kanyakumari, the southernmost point of India. Once you complete the check-in procedures, you’ll set out to explore the area. Kanyakumari is where the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and Bay of Bengal converge, known as Triveni Sangam. While you’re here, you’ll visit notable sites including the Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, and the Thiruvalluvar Statue.

    You will spend the night in Kanyakumari.

    Day 5

    KOVALAM – POOVAR BACKWATERS- TRIVANDRUM DAY EXCURSION (25 KM)

    Start your morning by enjoying the stunning blue waters of Kovalam and taking in the beautiful sunrise.

    Later, you’ll proceed to Poovar and Trivandrum.

    **Poovar:**

    A visit to Poovar isn’t complete without experiencing backwater boating. Whether you choose a simple one-hour round trip or an extended journey of over two hours that includes a floating restaurant and a golden sand beach, the experience is unforgettable. Poovar’s scenic beach resort attracts visitors from around the world. You may even encounter various birds while cruising through the mangrove forests. The Neyyar River’s water is safe to drink, and snacks and tea can be purchased from the floating eateries, although many guests prefer dining on the boat.

    **Trivandrum:**

    In Trivandrum, you’ll visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, known as the world’s richest Hindu temple. Afterward, you’ll make your way to Kanyakumari, where you can explore the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Bhagyavathy Temple, and Kanyakumari Beach.

    Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 2

    MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM (170km, 3hrs).

    After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Rameshwaram. Once you complete the check-in process, you’ll be ready for a day of exploration in the area. Your first stop will be the Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, renowned for its magnificent architecture and status as one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples. The itinerary also includes visits to the Ram Jharokha Temple and Agnitheertham.

    Next, you’ll head to Adam’s Bridge, or Rama Setu, a series of limestone shoals located between Pamban Island and Mannar Island. Additionally, you’ll visit Dhanushkodi, a beautiful ruin situated at the southeastern tip of Pamban Island. After a full day of sightseeing, return to the hotel for a restful night.

    Day 4

    KANYAKUMARI – TRIVANDRUM (90km, 2hrs).

    After breakfast, you’ll complete the check-out formalities and begin your journey to Kovalam, a serene beach village. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. This location offers a much-needed escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, allowing you to spend some peaceful and romantic time with your partner. You have the freedom to choose your activities, including several Ayurveda centers where you can indulge in couples massages.

    Kovalam Beach features a crescent shape and consists of Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach, and Samudra Beach, making it perfect for strolling and engaging in enjoyable activities. Some of the attractions you can explore include the historic lighthouse, the Napier Art Museum, Vellayani Lake, the Vizhinjam rock-cut cave temple, Kovalam Art Gallery, and boat rides on the Karamana River. The evening is yours to spend as you please.

    KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM DROP- TIME FOR FRESH START
