Day 1
ARRIVE BAGDOGRA / NJP. TRANSFER TO GANGTOK (130 km, 4hrs)
A local Sahapathika representative will greet you upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Enjoy a smooth journey to Gangtok, where you can experience a variety of climates that will truly captivate you.
On your way, you’ll pass through Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, offering stunning views of mountains, valleys, village life, forests, waterfalls, and tea-covered hills.
Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel or resort and spend the evening at your leisure. You can relax or explore the famous MG Marg, where you can shop for unique souvenirs.

Day 3
GANGTOK TO TSOMGO LAKE WITH BABA MANDIR EXCURSION – 52KMS IN 3HRS – ONE WAY (TIMING: 7.30AM TO 2.30PM)
Wake up early, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and get ready by 7:30 AM for today’s sightseeing adventure.
You’ll visit Tsomgo Lake, a stunning high-altitude alpine lake located on the Indo-China border (altitude: 12,000 ft / 3,600 m). This sacred 1-kilometer-long, 15-meter-deep lake is known for its clear waters, which freeze in winter. You can enjoy playing in the snow or riding a yak.
Next, head to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to the legendary “Hero of Nathula,” an Indian soldier who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra for bravery and is renowned for continuing his duties even after his death.
For Indian nationals, an optional excursion to Nathula Pass at the China border can be arranged with 30 days’ notice for an additional cost (not available on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Later, return to the hotel for a brief break. If you’re up for it, consider visiting the famous MG Marg, a vibrant stretch that serves as an open mall where locals and visitors can leisurely stroll or relax on benches. The area is clean, smoke-free, and free of vehicles.
You’ll spend the night in Gangtok.

Day 5
PELLING CITY TOUR
Pelling is renowned for its breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks and ranges of Kanchenjunga. With its rich history, stunning natural landscapes, and vibrant culture, it’s an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. The pollution-free environment is refreshing and revitalizing.
Popular tourist attractions in Pelling include the Sky Walk, Darap Village and Valley, Rimbi Waterfalls, Kanchenjonga Waterfalls, and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. After lunch, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, and the ruins of Rabdentse Palace.

Day 7
TIGER HILL (4.00AM) & DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Your day begins at 4 AM with a trip to Tiger Hill Sunrise Point. Just 11 kilometers from Darjeeling, you’ll witness the breathtaking spectacle of vibrant colors, clouds, hills, and the majestic snow-capped Mt. Kanchenjunga—moments you’ll cherish forever. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop (from 4 AM to 7:30 AM).
Return to your hotel for some rest and breakfast. Later, explore popular attractions including the Darjeeling Zoo, Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), the outer view of Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Center (closed on Sundays), the outer view of Lebong Race Course, and the Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda (from 9:45 AM to 2:45 PM).
The evening is free for leisure activities, local exploration, shopping, and experiencing the rich culture, diversity, and lifestyle differences between city and hill life.

Day 2
GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After a delicious breakfast, set out for local sightseeing in Gangtok. Key attractions include Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, the Ropeway, Banjakhri Falls, the Cottage Industry, Do-Drul Chorten, the Institute of Tibetology, the Flower Show, and Bakthang Waterfall. This tour will take approximately 6 hours.
You’ll spend the night in Gangtok.

Day 4
GANGTOK TO PELLING VIA RAVANGLA IN SOUTH SIKKIM (120 km, 4 hrs 30 min)
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Pelling (altitude: 7,175 feet / 2,150 meters). On the way, stop at Ravangla for stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Visit Buddha Park, also known as Tathagata Tsel, where you can admire a magnificent 130-foot-high Buddha statue. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains from this site are breathtaking.

Day 6
PELLING TO DARJEELING VIA NAMCHI ( 75 km, 3-4 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling, stopping at Namchi along the way. Here, you’ll find a remarkable 135-foot statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse. The Chardham site spans about 7 acres and features the Sai Golden Temple and an 87-foot statue of Lord Shiva.
Upon arriving in Darjeeling, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. The evening is yours to unwind or explore the local area, immersing yourself in its culture, activities, and unique lifestyle, and experiencing the contrasts between city and hill life.

DEPARTURE TO BAGDOGRA /NJP – TIME FOR A FRESH START

Head to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. This marks the last day of your Sikkim Darjeeling Tour with Sahapathika, leaving you with beautiful memories to treasure.
