Day 1
ARRIVE IN GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA ( 195 km, 4hrs)
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a local Sahapathika representative. Afterward, you will be transferred to Kaziranga National Park. This park is home to the largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses in the world, along with a diverse range of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, leopards, and bears, as well as thousands of bird species. Covering an area of 430 square kilometers, Kaziranga was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 due to its exceptional natural environment. In the evening, enjoy a specially arranged local cultural program (subject to availability). Spend the night at a resort in Kaziranga.

Day 3
SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI- SHILLONG
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and then set off for Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village. Here, you can experience a skywalk and marvel at the stunning living root bridge. After lunch, drive to Dawki, a key hub for trade with Bangladesh. This beautiful 45-kilometer journey takes you through deep canyons and ravines, offering a captivating experience. The Umngot River, which serves as the natural border between Ri Pnar (Jaintia Hills) and Hima Khyrim (Khasi Hills), features a single-span suspension bridge. You’ll spend the night in Shillong.

Day 5
TREK – TO DOUBLE DECKER TREKKING (AT CHERRAPUNJEE)
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting off to explore the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, the natural swimming pool at El Natural Waterfalls, and the breathtaking Rainbow Falls. After a day filled with adventure, return to your resort in the evening.
You will spend the night in Cherrapunjee.

Day 7
GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING
After a hearty breakfast, visit the renowned Maa Kamakhya Temple, located 10 km away on the Nilachal Hills. This temple is a significant site for the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas.
In the evening, enjoy a river cruise on the majestic Brahmaputra and explore the local market in Guwahati.

Day 2
KAZIRANGA ACTIVITIES – SHILLONG ( 252 km, 6hrs)
Start your day early with a jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, organized by Sahapathika Holidays. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot the iconic one-horned rhino along with various other animals and birds. After your safari, return to your hotel for a delicious breakfast.
Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a journey to Shillong, often referred to as the “Scotland of the East.” On your way, you’ll pass by the beautiful Umiam Lake, where you can soak in its mesmerizing views. After arriving in Shillong and freshening up, the rest of the evening is yours to relax or shop at the famous Police Bazaar.
You will spend the night in Shillong.

Day 4
SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE (60 km, 1 hr 30 Min)
In the morning, savor a delicious breakfast before checking out of your accommodation. You will then be transferred to Cherrapunjee, known as the wettest place on Earth. The journey takes about an hour and a half, winding through picturesque pine trees and mist.
Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking limestone caves and unique waterfalls. Visit highlights such as Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves, the Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park, and Thangkharang Park.
You will spend the night in Cherrapunjee.

Day 6
CHERRAPUNJEE – LAITLUM CANYONS GRAND – GUWAHATI (150 km, 4 hrs)
After breakfast, we will head to the Laitlum Canyons, a hidden gem known for its stunning natural beauty. The summit provides breathtaking views of the lush, rolling hills and the mist-covered canyon, offering a fantastic bird’s-eye view of Shillong.
After exploring, we’ll return to Guwahati for the night.

DEPATURE- TIME FOR A FRESH START
